This tool also works on a universally amassed level and it lets you use current keywords so that you can analyse and regulate the metrics of KWFinder.
- Keywords – These are what people type into the search engine when they are looking for a particular item, so why not optimise your site simply by “speaking their language”. What you need to do, is to understand just what it is that any potential visitors are looking to find then deliver it to them within your content.
- Google SERP – The word SERP means Search Engine Results Page. A SERP usually consist of ten search results which are organic and the main goal of SEO is to be ranking on position 1 (top spot) of Google’s very first SERP.
- Keyword Positions – This is the spot that your domain currently ranks for a keyword in Google’s SERP. If you are already ranking on positions 1-10, then you are already successfully ranking on Google’s first SERP. Positions 11-30 means that you are ranking on both the second and third Google SERP and therefore you are almost there. Now if you are lucky enough and spot a valuable keyword while you are on these spots, you have a great opportunity to make an improvement. You have the ability to pick the low-hanging fruits just by updating your content you already have or by creating some new content but using the same keyword.
- Keyword Search Volume – As the KWFinder is able to define the search volume as the “Average monthly Search volume in previous 12 months (this is an exact match), it lets you see just how many people have searched this term on a monthly basis. However, if you do want to pull it off, then you really need to have a back link profile which is very strong and has a lot of links from lots of other sites aimed at the URL you have.

When checking your keyword ranking in Google’s Search Console, you can do it quickly although that’s not all that’s involved. You can certainly do it the quick way or you can choose to do it the correct way. This involves a full in-depth evaluation of your rankings.

SERPWatcher is also able to give you the exact URL of your domain for a certain keyword it is ranking for which is a great thing as well. This is great information, and later on you will see just how invaluable it is in helping you to identify opportunities for improvement.
Where You Can Get More Keyword Data
Unfortunately with SERPWatcher, by default they do not give you some of the important keyword metrics. The thing we are referring to are the search volumes, cost per click and keyword difficulty but once again you are able to use another tool that also belongs to Mangools and this is the KWFinder. Normally, the KWFinder would be used to search for long tail keywords, however, it also has an import function which allows you to get data that is the same for any keyword you already have on your list.
As for the keywords that you got from SEMrush and the Google Search Console, let me show you below how it is done.
Follow the steps below to see how this actually works.
- Before you import anything to the KWFinder, select and then copy your suggestions to your clipboard. Always make sure you have the right country as well.
- Make sure that you sort out your results for SEO difficulty, then using the magnifying glass fetch all the difficulty metrics.
- You then want to collect all your remaining keywords with their metrics and as an example, export them to Google sheets.
- Finally you should use another function that is known as VLOOKUP which assigns the correct metrics to the keywords you have in your previous list.
- Copy all suggestions to your clipboard and import them to
KWFinder. Don’t forget to choose the right country.
- Sort the results for SEO difficulty (ascending) and fetch all
difficulty metrics with the magnifying glass.
- Select all remaining keywords and export them with their
metrics, for example to Google Sheets.
- Use the VLOOKUP function to assign the right metrics to
the keywords in your previous list.
So, even by having all the assimilated data ready as well as available, this only gets you so far. To get the correct outcomes then there is one further step that is helpful to take.
